Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Surgeon(Assistant, Associate, Full Professor)

University of Florida’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time academic board-certified or board-eligible Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Orthopaedic Surgeon for an Associate Professor or Professor role on a tenure-accruing or non-tenure accruing track.

About the role

Responsibilities include patient care and teaching with an emphasis on joint surgery. Extramural funded research is encouraged.

Requirements

• Completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
• Completed a one-year or greater Adult Reconstructive Joint Fellowship
• Passed Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Surgery Boards Examination
• MD or DO degree
• Eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License

Preferred Qualifications

Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
