Orthodontist

Adventure Dental in Midwest City, OK is seeking an Orthodontist to provide preventive and restorative orthodontic care, diagnose and treat orthodontic abnormalities, and instruct staff on assisting in patient treatment. This position reports to the Vice President of Orthodontic Services and is for 1 day per week or 3-4 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Inform patients on general care and health of teeth at regular intervals and stay updated on the latest orthodontic treatment techniques
• Educate caregivers and patients regarding all aspects of treatment and stay informed on the latest dental treatment techniques
• Partner with neighboring practices to inform and educate referring providers of the services provided
• Help kids and their caregivers develop excellent oral health habits
• Support efforts to promote the company and attract new patients within the community
• Participate in team activities and communication such as morning huddle, provider meetings, company events, and email communications
• Perform other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children

Requirements

• State dental license in good standing
• Board eligibility or board certification with the American Board of Orthodontics
• Strong interest in working with children
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time

Pay

$1,400–$1,700 per day
