Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Part Time

Schedule

1 Friday and 1 Saturday a month

Responsibilities

• Perform orthodontic procedures, including bonding, tie bands, and braces
• Take impressions and operate iTero scanning systems
• Assist with Invisalign and 6 Month Smiles treatments
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide chairside support
• Operate dental software and clinical equipment
• Set up, break down, and maintain treatment areas, including sterilization and biohazard disposal
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and required clinical reporting

Requirements

• Current Dental Assistant certification (in the state you are applying to)
• Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic experience
• X-Ray Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Driver’s License prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications

• Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification
• Nitrous & Coronal Polishing certifications
