Responsibilities
- Familiar with Tie Bands
- Familiar with Placing Bonding
- Impressions if applicable
- Familiar with Itero Scanning
- Familiar with Invisalign 6-month Smiles
- Familiar with Standard Braces
- Able to build rapport with patients
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication
- Familiar with Dental software and equipment
- Dental Assistants are responsible for the set-up/break down, including disposing of any bio-hazards properly
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Must follow all infection control procedures
- Must be able to complete clerical reporting on a daily/monthly basis
Requirements
- Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANB
- Two (2) years or more of experience
- X-Ray Certified
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Real ID prior to starting
- CPR/BLS
- Valid Driver License; Reliable Transportation
- Expanded duty dental assistant preferred
