Orthodontic Clinician III

About the role

Prairie Ridge Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician to join our growing team. You will deliver a positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies and state dental laws, rules, and regulations under the general direction and supervision of an Orthodontist.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove orthodontic appliances and take full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist
• Perform bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets
• Review patient charts, log appropriate patient data, and transcribe doctor notes
• Perform laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist
• Perform final checks on patients and lead patient flow
• Manage the remote monitoring dashboard, including review/triage of patient scans, respond to direct patient messages, and triage notifications
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory following standard protocols
• Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events
• Adhere to all infection-control policies and protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One (1) year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II
• Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
• Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
• CPR certification if required by state Dental Board

• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules, and multi-task

Pay

$21.00 - $26.20 per hour
