Orthodontic Assistant (X-Ray Certified)

Responsibilities

• Work in a pediatric, child-friendly environment
• Advise parents or guardians on what to expect during the visit and address any concerns
• Obtain all necessary x-rays with the best possible quality
• Maintain accurate clinical notes for each visit
• Maintain Dental Assisting License in good standing and complete required CE Credits by state
• Assist doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placement
• Remove and place wires, ties, power chains, and thread
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current State of TN RDA License
• Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
• Polishing and Radiology Certification
• Sealants Course (preferred, but not required)
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Pay

$18 - $20/hour

Schedule

• Monday: 9:45am - 5:00pm (Greenfield)
• Tuesday: 6:45am - 4:00pm (Indy)
• Wednesday & Thursday: 6:45am - 4:00pm (rotating between Greenfield and Indy)
• Some Fridays: 6:45am - 1:00pm (Indy)
