Orthodontic Assistant - Uncommon Orthodontics

About the role

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and calmly with parents and patients regarding treatment plans.
• Navigate and ensure compliance with prior authorization requirements and signed consent forms.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout treatment.
• Document all treatment rendered accurately using both electronic and paper records.
• Perform general housekeeping and restocking tasks as needed.
• Travel between Joplin and Nevada, MO clinics as required.

Qualifications

• A dental assisting background is helpful but not mandatory.
• Orthodontic assisting experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with orthodontic appliances is welcome.
