Orthodontic Assistant - Burr Orthodontics

Responsibilities

• Place and remove wires, coil springs, bands, and retainers under direct doctor supervision
• Conduct digital scans and assist in fabricating customized appliances and retainers
• Prep treatment bays, sterilize instruments, and keep clinical workflows running seamlessly
• Educate patients (and parents) on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment steps so they feel confident and informed
• Maintain precise treatment notes and collaborate across the clinic to ensure an outstanding patient journey

Requirements

• Background in dental or orthodontic assisting preferred
• Familiarity with orthodontic terminology, tools, and procedures — or high mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn
• High energy, attention to detail, strong team spirit, and a genuine heart for patient care
