About the role

Omaha Orthodontics is expanding its team and seeks an enthusiastic and friendly Orthodontic Assistant to support four experienced orthodontists.

Responsibilities & Goals

• Provide orthodontic health education to patients and parents
• Communicate with patients professionally and friendlily
• Take panoramic, cephalometric radiographs and intraoral photographs
• Work alongside doctors for all orthodontic procedures
• Willingness to learn new techniques and skills
• iTero intraoral scanning
• Sterilization maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assisting program preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant or dental assistant preferred
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with patients, families, and the orthodontic team
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
