Additional Information

Provides direct patient care in a 32-bed orthopedic and neuro spine unit, focusing on elective surgeries such as joint replacements, back, hip, knee, and spine procedures.

• Assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care within established standards.
• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration.
• Participates in safety, quality, and compliance activities, and collaborates with the care team to develop and communicate individualized care plans.
• Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
Licensure: RN license
No prior experience required; preferred candidates may have

• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism
