Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain water treatment facilities
- Monitor and adjust water quality parameters
- Perform routine maintenance on water distribution systems
- Respond to emergencies and perform emergency repairs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Experience in water utility operations preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Completion of a water operator certification program
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
- Good physical fitness and stamina
