About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ORION Spacecraft Technician (Mechanical) to support production, developmental, or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units.
• Work from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
• Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.
• Perform modifications, rework, and quality testing.
• Apply a strong mechanical background stemming from harness fabrication, testing, and installation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license.
