Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities by developing relationships with direct markets and strategic companies in the respective area of concentration.
- Lead the negotiation of natural gas contracts with customers for final approval from the Director of Gas Marketing.
- Work with the Gas Marketing team to insure that the pipeline capacity is utilized in the most effective manner.
- Gather market information from customers, pipelines and industry sponsored events to provide insight on key strategic issues and completion and relay to the appropriate level of management.
- Show fluid knowledge of the pipeline grid and how natural gas is moving and being sold across the country.
- Expected to meet Monthly and seasonal volumes sales goals as established by the Vice President of Marketing and Midstream Operations.
- Has a broad sales territory and is responsible for optimizing the sales and transportation in that territory to provide the highest possible netback for Range.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education - Bachelors in Energy Management, Finance, Business Admin/Management, Accounting or Business Related; MBA or graduate degree preferred
- Minimum Experience - 3+ years of industry experience including knowledge of gas and/or power downstream markets; Midwest exposure a plus
