Originating Branch Manager

About the Role

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking a Full Time Originating Branch Manager to supervise a branch and originate loans. This position operates under the direct supervision of the National Director of Branch Development.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain client referral relationships with Realtors, builders, and developers.
• Make sales calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or retain existing business.
• Recruit and hire Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) for the branch and motivate staff to achieve maximum production levels.
• Train and oversee branch staff on proper techniques and standards, with appropriate follow-through.
• Monitor the quality of loans originated by MLOs to ensure compliance with company policy guidelines.
• Monitor MLO compensation plans and balance them with production levels.
• Oversee the overall customer interaction and interface for each loan from application to closing, including:
  • Counseling and pre-qualifying potential home buyers.
  • Taking complete and accurate applications.
  • Obtaining all necessary support documents, fees, and lock-in information.
  • Monitoring loan status and ensuring conformity with terms.
  • Assisting in collecting additional documents and communicating loan status to all interested parties.
  • Obtaining loan documentation after closing.
• Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience directly related to the Mortgage Industry.
