Organizational Design Director

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking an Organizational Design Director to advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience.

About the role

You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Shape the organizational strategy by partnering with leaders to optimize structure and accountability
• Develop future-state designs, including team structures and decision ownership
• Analyze workflows to identify efficiency and productivity enhancements
• Lead initiatives during organizational changes to support business units
• Leverage data analytics to inform organizational insights and recommendations
• Advise leaders on design options and impact considerations
• Collaborate with HR teams to align on talent strategies and objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development or related field; equivalent experience accepted
• Minimum 8 years in organizational design, HR, workforce planning, or related work
• Strong grasp of organizational design principles and operating models across functions
• Familiar with org design tools like OrgVue for scenario modeling
• Experience with matrixed organizational structures and accountability frameworks
• Proven track record in supporting organizational change initiatives
• Ability to connect design decisions to overarching business goals

Pay

$171,700 – $209,800 annually
