This is a hybrid position (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office) based out of our Maple Plain location. We are growing our change team and looking to add this headcount. You will support key change initiatives that help employees successfully adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working across the business. . This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional — or someone looking to transition into HR, Change Management, Learning & Development, or Project/Program Management — who enjoys working with people, communicating clearly, and helping teams navigate change. You don’t need direct change management experience to succeed in this role; we’re looking for transferable skills, curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for collaboration, problem-solving, and supporting organizational transformation in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Change Strategy & Planning Support Support the development and implementation of change management strategies aligned with business objectivesAssist in conducting impact assessments and readiness evaluations to identify potential risks and barriersHelp build change plans that address the people side of organizational transformation Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-inSupport the facilitation of workshops, meetings, and engagement sessions to promote understanding and commitmentPartner across teams and functions to ensure coordination on change activities Messaging & Training Design and deliver clear, targeted messaging plans for impacted audiencesDevelop training materials in partnership with the Learning & Development function and coordinate learning sessions to support adoptionCraft content that is accessible, engaging, and tailored to diverse audiences Monitoring & Reporting Track progress of change initiatives and measure adoption ratesProvide regular reports and recommendations to leadership on change effectivenessIdentify gaps in adoption and recommend strategies to address them Continuous Improvement Identify lessons learned and best practices for future change initiativesSupport the development of a change management culture within the organizationHelp create and grow a Community of Practice to transform how Protolabs approaches change Focus Areas Engagement — Draft, coordinate, and deliver clear messaging that supports change initiatives and keeps stakeholders informedCollaboration — Partner across teams and functions to build relationships and ensure alignment on change activitiesSupport — Assist senior change practitioners in planning and executing change strategies, training plans, and stakeholder engagement effortsResourcefulness — Proactively seek out information, identify gaps, and bring forward ideas to improve how we connect with and support people through changeLearning & Growth — Develop foundational skills in change management, project coordination, and organizational development with mentorship and hands-on experience What It Takes Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Change Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field — or comparable experience.2+ years of professional experience in any industry or function. Candidates with diverse backgrounds and transferable skills who are interested in pursuing a career in Organizational Change are encouraged to apply.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.Proficiency in Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and Outlook; familiarity with AI technologies.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing business needs.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.Demonstrated empathy, curiosity, and a passion for helping people navigate change.
