About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all systems and providing technical support to faculty and students.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the university’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
- Provide technical support to faculty and students, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with university standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of technology across campus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in IT management or support.
- Experience with network administration, server management, and software development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and cloud computing platforms.
- Experience with network security protocols and best practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Skills
- Technical proficiency in IT management tools and software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
