Oregon Facility Is Seeking a Locum Tenens Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

Locum tenens OB/GYN position providing inpatient and outpatient care, including OB ultrasounds, C‑sections, forceps deliveries, laceration repair, and in‑office GYN procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, and cryosurgery. Approximately 208 deliveries per year. Weatherby Healthcare, a charter member of NALTO since 1995, supplies locum tenens staffing with nearly 600 employees serving nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB ultrasounds, C‑sections, forceps deliveries, and laceration repairs
• Conduct in‑office GYN procedures: IUD insertion, colposcopy, LEEP, cryosurgery
• Manage inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN patient load (≈15 patients per shift)
• Handle approximately 208 deliveries annually
• Work 8‑hour guaranteed shifts, 8 call shifts per month

Schedule

• Clinic days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – 8 am to 5 pm
