Order Taker / Cashier

About the role

The Order Taker/Cashier serves as the face of the restaurant. They are responsible for greeting guests, taking accurate food orders, processing payments, and maintaining a clean dining area.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously
• Take accurate food orders
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Ensure smooth operation of the cash register and POS system
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Pay

Salary range: $15 - $18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Flexible schedule available, including weekends and evenings.
