About the role
A global manufacturer is seeking an Order Processing Manager to lead sales order operations and drive a high level of customer satisfaction across the US. This role is open due to growth in North America and offers the opportunity to be part of a tight-knit team in a brand-new office with significant growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Lead sales order management, including order entry, tracking, fulfillment, and issue resolution
- Manage and develop a customer-focused team that supports business growth and strong client relationships
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment
- Support customer order processing across multiple business segments
- Play a key role in ERP process improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain customer service policies and procedures
- Track KPIs, report on performance, and implement operational improvements
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure on-time delivery through order expediting when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Experience in sales order management, customer operations, or order fulfillment
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or a complex operational environment (preferred)
- Leadership experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP is a plus
- Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities
- Experience managing sales order or customer order operations in a fast-paced business environment
- Demonstrated leadership ability with success developing teams and improving service performance
- Experience with a larger ERP software in relation to order processing, transaction management, or related workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational issues and customer concerns effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams and building customer trust
- Ability to manage priorities across multiple business segments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfortable using metrics and process reviews to drive operational improvements and support business objectives
