Order Processing Clerk I
Job Summary
The Key Cutting & Operations Associate is a hands-on, detail-oriented team member responsible for the precise duplication of residential and automotive keys, along with performing thorough quality control checks prior to shipment. This role also includes order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, accuracy, and accountability in both technical and operational tasks, with basic computer proficiency and a strong focus on quality.
Essential Job Functions
- Accurately cut house and car keys using manual and automated machines
- Perform detailed quality control checks to ensure all keys meet functionality and accuracy standards before shipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment in accordance with established timelines
- Use basic computer systems and scanning tools for order processing
- Proactively identify and correct errors or discrepancies prior to shipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Manufacturing/distribution experience preferred but not required. Must demonstrate ability to work from verbal and written instructions. Works effectively as a member of a team to meet production goals.
