Order Picker - part time

About the role

Our picking team is responsible for ensuring the accurate selection of products needed to process our customers' orders. Equipment experience is required for this position as forklifts and tuggers will be used on a daily basis. This team is measured on safety, quality, timeliness, and attendance. As we promote a strong team environment, associates in the Distribution Center will be cross-trained in a multitude of roles including pick/pack, motor freight, receiving, and material services. Stand up and sit down equipment experience is a MUST.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select products needed to process customer orders
• Operate forklifts and tuggers daily
• Cross-train in pick/pack, motor freight, receiving, and material services
• Meet performance metrics for safety, quality, timeliness, and attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with scanning technology
• Forklift experience (stand up and sit down equipment)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
• Reliable transportation
• Solid work history showing longevity with past employers

Pay

$20.00 an hour.
