Order Picker/Material Handler - 2nd shift

Schedule

2nd shift: Monday‑Friday, 3:15 pm – 11:15 pm

Responsibilities

• Daily Execution (1st Priority)
  • Maintain supermarkets (5S and inventory accuracy)
  • Move parts (mold, wire, electronics) from supply area to supermarket
  • Pull, stage, and deliver parts to the line
  • Move finished goods from line to shipping
  • Execute visual signals and perform appropriate transactions
  • Follow standard work
• Process Support (2nd Priority)
  • Perform location audits
  • Validate system counts, retrieve materials for NPD, ECN, and excess/obsolete inventory
  • Expedite parts through the system to address shortages and customer opportunities
  • Communicate system errors up to group leadership
• Continuous Improvement (3rd Priority)
  • Follow 5S standards everywhere
  • Identify areas of improvement and participate in Kaizen events

Qualifications

• Good computer skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Certified or able to become certified on mechanical equipment (forklift, picker, pallet jack, etc.)

Note: Material handlers use forklifts infrequently; most handling is done with pallet jacks or carts.
