Order Picker I

Job Summary

About the role

This position is an Order Picker I role with a schedule of 1st shift Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM, with potential for overtime from 5:00 AM to 2:45 PM based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Uses a hand scanner to determine order requirements
• Pulls the correct product from the stock area and packs it into the appropriate boxes
• Maintains required daily productivity standards for lines picked per hour
• Ensures work meets quality standards
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste
• Resolves basic operating problems and reports other problems to the manager
• Maintains a current knowledge of operating procedures and company products
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Good attention to detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to use a hand-held RF scanner
• Related experience highly preferred

Pay

• Base Rate: $18.00/Hour

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM
• Overtime: 5:00 AM - 2:45 PM (based on business needs)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work Environment: Order Processor, Fast paced, standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day, exposure to loud noise, near vision required
• Physical Demands: Medium-Heavy, lifting up to 30 lbs
