About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Order Picker (Cherry Picker Operator) to join our warehouse operations team in Port Wentworth, Georgia. This is a dedicated equipment operator position where you will play a vital role in keeping our supply chain moving. You will operate heavy machinery daily to retrieve inventory and prepare orders for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Cherry Picker to locate, retrieve, and move inventory across multiple levels of the warehouse.
• Maintain a high level of picking accuracy while adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
• Master warehouse layout and consistently meet daily performance targets.
• Foster a culture of safety and teamwork on the warehouse floor.
• Maintain an excellent attendance record.

Requirements

• At least 12 consecutive months of hands-on experience operating an Order Picker (Cherry Picker).
• Ability and comfort working at elevated heights (up to five levels high).
• Ability to work comfortably in a standard warehouse environment, including high temperatures and humidity.
• Access to reliable, personal transportation to ensure consistent, on-time attendance.
• Commitment to working overtime hours, early starts (6:00 AM), late finishes (4:30 PM), and weekends when required.

Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Active or prior forklift/order picker safety certification.
• Experience using RF scanners and digital inventory management systems.
• Previous experience in high-volume distribution or logistics centers.

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Schedule

• Standard Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Overtime Flexibility: Must be available for shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM, ending as late as 4:30 PM, and potential weekend shifts.
