About the role
Abacus Employment Services is recruiting packing operatives for a well-known company based at Walworth Industrial Estate, Andover.
Responsibilities
- Packing, picking and organising customer orders
- Preparing orders ready for distribution
- Maintaining stock rotation
- Moving pallets
- Keeping workstation and environment tidy
- Quality control to ensure all food is in good condition for customers
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, picking, goods-out or loader experience is beneficial but not essential
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and care in preparing customer orders
- Comfortable in an active role involving a lot of walking
Schedule
05:00 am – 1:30 pm, Sunday through Thursday (every Friday and Saturday off).
Pay
£12.71 per hour, with increased pay rates after 8 weeks.
Contract
Temporary full-time position with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
