Order Manager

About the role

Order Manager position based in Wendell, NC (relocation assistance available). The role involves managing and processing customer sales orders from placement to delivery within Siemens’ Electrification & Automation Business Unit, which provides energy distribution systems and solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s power grids.

Responsibilities

• Confirm factory delivery dates and provide accurate updates to internal customers.
• Handle customer inquiries.
• Define production sequence based on customer priorities.
• Balance production load.
• Follow up to internal milestones.
• Collaborate with all factory departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
• Maintain delivery schedules.
• Create production orders in SAP and align delivery and requirement dates.
• Coordinate order changes with all internal areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Experience with SAP (SD and PS modules).
• Preferred: Salesforce.com experience.

Pay

Salary range: $66,973 – $114,811 per year. Eligible for a 5% bonus.
