Maintain order flow and sales activity, ensuring the distribution center is informed of changes in ordering patterns to support operational readiness.

  • Proactively plan and coordinate efficient shipment of customer orders, including holiday demand, strategic product launches, backorder releases, and expedited (e.g., air) shipments, while accounting for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual fluctuations.
  • Respond to and resolve a variety of inquiries, including order status, product availability, and inventory concerns, collaborating with Customer Service Representatives, Product Marketing, and distribution center teams.
  • Analyze order flow, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to optimize fulfillment and prevent disruptions.
  • Review and validate multiple daily reports to ensure order accuracy, system integrity, and timely shipment from distribution centers, minimizing service-level penalties and preventing customer stockouts.
  • Manage backorders across all accounts, including preparing and reviewing weekly backorder reports, and partnering with Customer Service to expedite fulfillment and mitigate supply risks.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics and warehouse teams to monitor order execution, inventory levels, and shipment priorities.
  • Analyze sales data and trends using SAP to support order management decisions and provide guidance to Customer Service teams.
  • Generate, validate, and distribute both scheduled and ad hoc reports to support business operations and decision-making.

Participate in special projects and perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support department objectives.

College degree preferred. A minimum of two years customer service experience in a “non-call center” environment is a must (pharmaceuticals strongly preferred).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with good time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills including: Intermediate or better Excel skills and SAP experience preferred.
  • A positive Customer Service attitude with a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $64,500 to $79,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

  • In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan.
