About the role
Embed with the IT team to design and build net-new automated workflows across the organization. Write and inspect Python and JSON code, create API-driven integrations across SaaS platforms, and leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery. Translate non-technical stakeholder needs into automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Write and inspect Python and JSON code by hand; JavaScript and Node.js are a plus
- Design, build, and maintain API integrations using REST APIs, OAuth, and API keys across enterprise SaaS platforms
- Identify manual, ticket-based, or repetitive processes and replace them with automated, event-driven solutions using no-code, low-code, or programmatic tools
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver automation outcomes
- Apply ITSM principles and governance practices to structured release management and change control
- Create reusable automation templates and frameworks for broader adoption
Top Skills
- Hands-on coding in Python and JSON; JavaScript and Node.js are a plus
- API development and integration (REST, OAuth, API keys) across SaaS platforms
- Workflow automation and orchestration using no-code, low-code, or programmatic tools
- ITSM background or experience supporting a large enterprise IT organization
- AI tool fluency with a builder mentality (e.g., daily use of Claude, ChatGPT)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with no-code or low-code automation platforms in addition to hand-coded solutions
- Familiarity with change control and governance practices, including structured release management
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and priorities simultaneously without compromising quality or speed
- Track record of creating reusable automation templates or frameworks
Pay
$50.00 – $65.00/hr (individual compensation within this range depends on qualifications, skills, experience, and other factors).
