About the role

Rider Oral Surgery is seeking a skilled, compassionate Oral Surgeon to join a well-established practice led by Dr. Cynthia Rider, a lifelong Jackson resident deeply committed to caring for families throughout Jackson and the surrounding communities.

Responsibilities

  • Practice high-quality oral surgery in a supportive, family-oriented environment with a loyal patient base and outstanding reputation.
  • Work alongside Dr. Cynthia Rider and a dedicated team to provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care.
  • Participate in international medical mission trips to provide care to underserved families and communities.
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a warm, respectful environment that prioritizes work-life balance.
  • Offer a broad range of oral and maxillofacial surgical services with a consistent and diverse patient flow.

Requirements

  • Any U.S. region or Canada residency or eligibility for U.S. licensure.
  • Open to relocating to Michigan to become part of a community-driven, values-based practice.
  • Experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current U.S. or Canadian license to practice oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • Passing scores on the ABOS (American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) examination.
