Summary
Provides outpatient oral surgery care, contributes to resident training, and supports the Dental Director as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs a full range of oral surgery procedures including consultations, routine and complex extractions, biopsies, and treatment of oral disease and trauma.
- Refer patients to dental or medical specialists when appropriate.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to support comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.
- Deliver patient-centered, age-appropriate care with strong clinical judgment.
- Supervise, teach, and mentor dental residents.
Qualifications
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.
- Active NYS dental license.
- Two years of experience as a general dentist preferred.
- Excellent clinical, communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Experience with dental EMR systems preferred.
- Dedication to community health; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Pay and Schedule
Pay: $270k
