About the role
Nuvia Dental Implant Center is seeking a skilled Oral Surgeon to join our Memphis, TN location. We are revolutionizing dental implant excellence with cutting-edge technology and processes, delivering permanent teeth in just 24 hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental implant surgery including tooth extraction and alveolectomy as necessary
- Collaborate with the restorative doctor to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Examine and diagnose patients comprehensively
- Work closely with the restorative doctor to ensure optimal treatment outcomes
- Conduct surgeries in a team setting
- Dictate comprehensive patient notes
- Collaborate with the team on upcoming cases
- Ensure punctual arrival for surgical preparation
- Review patients' health histories, radiographs, and treatment plans
Requirements
- Graduation from a U.S. accredited four-year dental school (DDS/DMD)
- Post-graduate of a U.S. surgical program with certificate to practice Oral Surgery
- Unrestricted, active dental license in state of operation
- DEA registration
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
- Experience with All-on-X procedure
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
- Self-motivated and efficient with time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
Skills
- Proficiency in digital workflow for improved prosthetic passivity
- Experience with titanium bar cross-stabilization
- Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS guidelines
