Nuvia Dental Implant Center is looking for a skilled Oral Surgeon to join our Reading, MA location to help redefine dental implant excellence. Pay

$500,000 - $1,000,000+ per year. Maximize your earnings with Nuvia's generous per-arch rate, steady stream of cases, and bonus structure based on volume.

About the role

• CRNA, sedation, and secure airway provided for every case—experience worry-free procedures so you can focus on what you do best (not taken out of your pay).
• All fixed AOX cases—no singles or multiples. Our focus on AOX cases allows for a streamlined, efficient surgical experience.
• We handle permanent next-day restoration: permanent prostheses delivered in 24 hours by skilled on-site restorative doctors, with no immediate-load temps.
• Titanium bar cross stabilization designed to help increase implant success.
• Digital workflow for improved prosthetic passivity.
• No non-compete or restrictive covenants—two days per week with potential opportunity for more.
• Hands-on complex case training provided by some of the most experienced professionals in the business (combined experience of well over 10,000 cases).

At Nuvia, our surgeons are efficient with their time and self-motivated. An ideal candidate is a great communicator as well as a team player. Typical surgical hours are Monday–Thursday starting at 7 AM, 2+ consecutive days a week, depending on need. This is a 1099 contractor position.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday starting at 7 AM, 2+ consecutive days per week (flexible based on need).

Responsibilities

• Perform dental implant surgery, including extraction of teeth and alveolectomy as necessary.
• Work in close collaboration with the restorative doctor to aid in treatment planning for optimal outcomes.
• Examine, diagnose, and provide treatment plans to patients in a comprehensive manner.
• Work in accordance with center policies and procedures, safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines.
• Dictate comprehensive notes and collaborate with the team on upcoming cases.

A day in the life of a surgeon at Nuvia includes:

• Punctual arrival at the center for surgical prep.
• Reviewing patients' health history, radiographs, and treatment plan.
• Performing exceptional surgery in a team setting.

Success in this position is defined by delivering consistent, excellent clinical care and executing the proposed treatment plan. Communication between the surgeon and restorative doctor is crucial for the success of our centers. The biggest challenge is establishing clinical expectations that are reasonable and surgically sound.

Requirements

• Graduation from a U.S. accredited four-year dental school (DDS/DMD).
• Post-graduate of a U.S. surgical program with a certificate to practice oral surgery.
• Unrestricted, active dental license in the state of operation.
• DEA registration.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance.
• Experience with the All-on-X procedure.
