Location: Silver Spring, MD – brand-new, state-of-the-art oral surgery practice opening August 2026. This is a unique opportunity to become the founding Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with long-term growth potential, backed by an established referral network and experienced leadership.
About the Practice
- Lead surgeon in a brand-new practice with a 5-day workweek, including one dedicated business development/marketing day to strengthen referral relationships
- Modern office featuring:
- 4 surgical operatories
- 1 consultation room
- 1 recovery room
- Fully staffed with:
- 3 dental assistants
- 1 treatment coordinator
- 1 administrative team member
- CBCT imaging and flexibility to select your preferred implant system
- PPO and fee-for-service patient base
Growth Opportunity
- Strong referral relationships from established pediatric and orthodontic practices
- Referral network projected to generate approximately $3 million in annual revenue by Year 3
- Opportunity to shape clinical protocols, technology, and practice culture from day one
Responsibilities
Practice the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, including:
- Routine and complex extractions
- Dental implants and bone grafting
- Exposure and bonding of impacted teeth
- Oral pathology and infection management
- IV sedation and anesthesia
- Orthognathic surgery and facial trauma procedures (if desired)
Mentorship
Access to mentorship and clinical collaboration from two highly respected Oral Surgeons with successful practices throughout Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. Open to both new graduates and experienced surgeons.
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed $600,000 income during Year One or 30% of collections (whichever is greater)

Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a CODA-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Active Maryland dental license (or ability to obtain)
- Maryland sedation permit (or eligibility)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to exceptional patient care
