Join a collaborative, well-established team of 11 dentists, General Practice residents, and a highly skilled clinical and administrative support staff in a thriving academic environment that values innovation, mentorship, and service.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex trauma and hospital-based cases
• Collaborate across specialties
• Contribute to an ACPA-approved Cleft and Craniofacial Center
• Work alongside specialists in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and prosthodontics
• Teach and mentor General Practice residents
• Engage with medical students and interdisciplinary learners
• Pursue research through the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, Virginia Tech, and other academic partners

Requirements

• Completion of a CODA or CDAC-accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the ABOMS
• Interest in academic appointment and teaching
