About the role

Full-time faculty position practicing at University Health - Truman Medical Center near downtown Kansas City. The role includes joint academic appointments at the UMKC Schools of Dentistry and Medicine, with responsibilities in patient care, resident teaching, research, and call coverage at three Level I trauma centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a busy clinic and operating room setting
• Teach residents and medical students
• Engage in research opportunities
• Build and foster a clinical practice
• Provide call coverage at three Level I trauma centers

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Graduate of an American or Canadian ADA‑accredited dental school

Qualifications

• Broad‑scope training in OMS with interests in TMJ, cosmetic, orthognathic, dental implant, dentoalveolar and/or trauma surgery
