A downtown Chicago oral and maxillofacial surgery private practice with a 45-year history seeks a board-eligible or board-certified associate. The practice sits within a major medical complex in the Streeterville district that serves Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Lurie Children's Hospital.
Teaching appointment
The role offers a faculty appointment at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and an associate clinical professor appointment with the Cook County residency program, teaching oral surgery interns and general practice residents.
Scope of practice
This is a full-scope, fee-for-service practice. The case mix includes dental implants and full-arch reconstruction, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, pathology, and office-based anesthesia, along with hospital-based and reconstructive work through the affiliated hospitals. Call coverage is light, about one week in six.
Support and schedule
An experienced surgical and administrative team keeps the schedule full and well-supported from the first week.
Compensation
- Total package worth more than $400,000 per year, with additional production-based earnings
- $10,000 signing bonus
- Partnership eligibility after five years
