We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a large-scale Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) federal financial management environment hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role focuses on supporting Oracle EBS technical environments, OCI cloud architecture, and enterprise integration frameworks. Experience with Fusion Cloud, OIC, or Accounting Hub integration patterns is valuable for future scalability. This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the Continental US.
Responsibilities
- Manage OCI architecture, networking, identity, security, and API gateway configurations.
- Maintain and support Oracle EBS integrations, extensions, and application tiers.
- Ensure reliable, structured data flows compatible with Oracle Fusion Cloud or OIC.
- Oversee logging, monitoring, observability, and environment readiness.
- Troubleshoot cross-system issues and produce operational documentation.
- Lead documentation for environment configurations, architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and release readiness.
Requirements
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience supporting ERP or cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture and integration points.
- Hands-on experience managing OCI cloud environments, networking, security configurations, and cloud-native service deployments.
- Experience supporting ERP migration or modernization initiatives (Fusion Cloud preferred).
- Ability to oversee environment readiness, integration dependencies, and release governance.
- Ability to obtain/maintain IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive suitability.
Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Fusion Cloud, and Accounting Hub integration frameworks.
- Experience with structured journal ingestion or cloud-based validation workflows.
- Understanding of cloud security models and system observability tools.
- Experience guiding Agile PI planning, sprint readiness, and cross-team coordination.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $176,300.00.
