Oracle Public Sector - Technical Consultant

About the Role

An experienced consulting professional who operates independently to provide quality work products, performing varied and complex duties to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations and participates in business development activities as requested.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.
• Advise customer peers on process direction and decisions.
• Contribute to resolution of complex customer issues.
• Demonstrate business process expertise within one product family or design expertise in one technology product.
• Recommend solutions that may include third-party integration and/or extensions to Oracle products.
• Promote adoption of Oracle methodologies, tools, and leading practices with team members.
• Actively contribute project work products to knowledge repository; leverage reusable assets and intellectual capital.
• Lead or contribute to an Oracle professional community.
• Share business process, industry, or technology knowledge as applicable.
• Expand knowledge and expertise across other applications and/or technologies.
• Become familiar with Oracle's corporate vision and strategy.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of overall experience with Public Sector customers.
• 6 years of overall experience implementing and configuring off-the-shelf solutions for software vendors.
• 6 years of experience developing and documenting As-Is and To-Be business processes.
• Experience in the following Public Sector domains: Permitting, Licensing, Code Enforcement, and Planning.
