Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Role: Oracle PL/SQL Developer Location: Houston, TX 77002 Duration: Direct Hire Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card Holder This is an onsite position Job Description: Looking for a strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience, preferably within gas operations or energy systems, who can effectively partner with business stakeholders, deliver application enhancements, support production systems, and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and support Gas System applications, including: Quorum TIPS Accounting & GatheringBusiness Objects (BOBJ) reportingOracle database objectsData archiving solutionsInterfaces with upstream and downstream systemsDevelop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL components, including: PackagesProceduresFunctionsTriggersIndexesParticipate in application design, development, testing, and implementation activities.Support vendor software upgrades, builds, patches, testing, and deployments.Collaborate directly with business users and analysts to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.Provide ongoing application support and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, CIS/MIS, or related field.5+ years of database development and analysis experience using SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.Advanced Oracle PL/SQL development expertise.Strong SQL development skills.Experience with: ToadSQL DeveloperReporting toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated team player with a strong customer-service mindset.Experience with Quorum TIPS applications within the natural gas industry preferred but not must.
