Oracle/PL SQL Database Engineer

Position Summary

This role involves design, Developer and review all the Database changes in the bank. As a Database Engineer he/she will apply industry accepted design and development practices for perform all the database related changes like DB design, normalization, SQL/ PL-SQL using Agile Methodology

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in latest Oracle Database version
• Proficiency in TOAD and similar tools
• Experience in OEM
• Strong Experience in SQL and PL/ SQL programming
• Proven experience in Database Design and Data modeling (ER Diagram and Normalization)
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structure and background processes
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, including:
  • Query Optimization
  • Indexing strategies
  • Use of AWR, ASH and Explain plan, etc.
