Oracle Fusion Engineer – Financials (Oracle Gov Cloud – ERP System)

About the role

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Oracle Fusion Engineer – Financials (Oracle Gov Cloud – ERP System) to join the Web Development Specialty Applications (WDSA) team. The engineer will design, configure, develop, integrate, and support Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP solutions deployed within the Oracle Government Cloud environment, ensuring system reliability, security compliance, and optimal performance for business‑critical financial, procurement, and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, develop, configure, and maintain Oracle Fusion ERP modules, including Financials (GL, AP, AR), Procurement (Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal), Project Financial Management (PPM), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
• Manage ERP environments hosted in Oracle Government Cloud.
• Maintain data governance and security best practices, adhering to government cloud security constraints.
• Monitor system availability, performance, and security logs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Optimize system performance and user experience.
• Coordinate Oracle quarterly/monthly updates and patches, including environment refreshes, patching, and deployment cycles.
• Analyze release notes and perform impact assessments.
• Coordinate testing (SIT/UAT).
• Design and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and file‑based data imports/exports (FBDI).
• Support advanced reporting and analytics by developing custom solutions with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), and Fast Formulas.
• Create dashboards, reports, and data extracts for stakeholders.
• Provide end‑user support, gather requirements, and deliver technical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud ERP.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle security and permissions (roles, privileges, data access).
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture and data models, API‑based integrations (REST/SOAP), SQL, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Fusion Middleware/OIC.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials and/or Procurement and HCM, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher / OTBI, FBDI and HDL data loads, and Oracle security model.
• Background in programming with one or more languages.
• Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
• Clear communication skills for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, especially in compliance‑driven work.
• Familiarity with DevOps and release management processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP systems covering Financials, Procurement, Project Financial Management, Enterprise Performance Management, and Human Capital Management (HCM).
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign‑On (SSO) integrations.
• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder, Oracle Apex, SmartView (Oracle ADF Desktop Integration Add‑In for Excel).
• Experience with Opkey ERP Test Automation or other automated test tools.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Architect, Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration).
• Experience working in government or regulated cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and DevOps tools.
