Oracle Fusion AR Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an Oracle Fusion AR Functional Consultant with 10-12+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, specializing in Accounts Receivable. The role involves implementing Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud, focusing on business process design, system configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, and post-go-live support.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement Oracle Fusion Accounts Receivable, including:
  • Customer master and profiles
  • Invoicing and billing
  • Credit management
  • Receipts, adjustments, refunds, and chargebacks
  • Auto accounting and subledger accounting
• Ensure AR setups align with business requirements and Oracle best practices.
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops and fit-gap analysis.
• Design and document To-Be Order to Cash (O2C) processes.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and solution mappings.
• Collaborate with GL, Tax, Cash Management, and other Finance workstreams.
• Define AR functional requirements for integrations with:
  • Order Management or legacy order entry systems
  • General Ledger
  • Tax engines, collections, cash application, and customer portals
• Support integration design and validation in collaboration with technical teams.
• Assist with data migration activities for:
  • Customers
  • Open invoices
  • Applied and unapplied receipts
  • Credit memos and adjustments
• Support AR operational and financial reporting using OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Assist with period-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in CRP, SIT, and UAT cycles for AR processes.
• Prepare test scenarios, validate results, and support defect resolution.
• Assist with cutover, production deployment, and go-live activities.
• Provide post-go-live hypercare and ongoing support.
• Manage customer stakeholder relationships and articulate requirements, timelines, issues, resolutions, and status updates.
• Engage in critical discussions during off-business hours as needed.

Requirements

• 10-12+ years of experience in Oracle Financials with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable.
• Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud.
• Experience working on at least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion AR implementation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of:
  • Order to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R) processes
  • AR–GL integration and subledger accounting
  • Invoicing, receipts, credit, and collections processes
• Working knowledge of integrations and data migration concepts.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, onsite, and offshore technical teams.
• Strong communication skills, including listening and understanding regional accents of English; ability to speak English with a neutral accent.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.

Pay

Base salary range: $160,000 to $180,000 per annum.
