About the role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Integration Engineer to join our team as a subject matter expert, partnering closely with full stack developers to rebuild and modernize an existing field inspection application.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary authority on the OFSC platform, guiding the integration team through architectural decisions, API design, and implementation best practices to ensure a scalable, reliable connection between our modern application stack and Oracle Field Service Cloud.
- Design and implement OFSC plugins using the OFSC Plugin Framework and JavaScript SDK.
- Translate business and field operations requirements into OFSC data models and workflow configurations.
- Collaborate with full stack developers, providing technical guidance on API consumption, payload structures, and error handling patterns.
- Work with full stack developers to integrate OFSC with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or GIS platforms via REST/SOAP and middleware tools (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, or similar).
- Implement modern integration patterns including event-driven architecture, webhooks, and asynchronous messaging.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on expertise with Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC), including configuration, data model, and platform capabilities.
- Strong proficiency with the OFSC REST API, including Activity, Resource, Capacity, and Core Manage APIs.
- Familiarity with OFSC business rules, routing logic, capacity categories, and work zone configuration.
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0 and other authentication/authorization patterns used in OFSC integrations.
- Experience integrating OFSC with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or GIS platforms via REST/SOAP and middleware tools (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, or similar).
- Comfortable collaborating with full stack developers, providing technical guidance on API consumption, payload structures, and error handling patterns.
