Oracle DBA

W2 and local candidates in the Chandler, AZ area will be considered. This is a contract position with work hours from 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Oracle Database Administration with hands-on experience in Oracle 19c and Oracle 23/26ai
• Support and manage Oracle Exadata environments
• Develop and maintain scripting and automation solutions using Shell scripting, SQL, Pl/SQL, and Python
• Utilize Oracle technologies and tools, including:
  • Data Guard
  • RMAN
  • Oracle Recovery Appliance
  • Fleet Patching and Provisioning (FPP)
• Perform database backup, recovery, patching, performance tuning, and operational support
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to AI technologies and Cloud is a plus

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with hands-on expertise in Oracle 19c and Oracle 23/26ai
• Experience supporting and managing Oracle Exadata environments
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Shell scripting, SQL, Pl/SQL, Python)
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle technologies and tools, including Data Guard, RMAN, Oracle Recovery Appliance, and Fleet Patching and Provisioning (FPP)
• Experience with database backup, recovery, patching, performance tuning, and operational support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to AI technologies and Cloud (preferred)

Pay

$51.66 - $61.66 per hour
