Oracle Database Administrator - Business Availability & Disaster Recovery

For our client, we are seeking a Oracle Database Administrator - Business Availability & Disaster Recovery to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on the administration, optimization, and availability of Oracle database environments that support critical technology services. You will help ensure strong business continuity through backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and performance tuning practices. The position also involves partnering with technical teams to define data management standards, improve operational efficiency, and support reliable access to data across the organization. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Define and recommend database and data management policies Manage database backup and recovery processes and configuration parameters Define data repository requirements and maintain data dictionaries Optimize database access and manage resources for performance Drive performance monitoring and capacity planning Support services that ensure data integrity and accessibility Lead technical projects and provide guidance to junior team members Automate administrative tasks to improve efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience Deep expertise in Oracle database design, administration, and optimization Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior staff U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required Familiarity with export-controlled commodities and technology may be necessary Benefits Opportunity to work on diverse technical projects Mentoring and leadership development opportunities Engagement in organizational activities and initiatives Potential for career advancement within the organization Work in a collaborative and technically challenging environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
