Oracle Cloud Payables Product Owner / SME

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Payables Product Owner / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the Accounts Payable workstream for a major enterprise cloud implementation. Working remotely, you will serve as the core functional lead and liaison between business stakeholders and implementation teams, driving functional design, process optimization, and testing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business process owner for Oracle Cloud Accounts Payable (AP), defining future-state requirements and functional designs.
• Drive design workshops, approve functional architecture decisions, and establish operational controls.
• Oversee data cleansing and validation strategies for supplier and AP master data.
• Lead business participation in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing defect prioritization and resolutions.
• Support end-user training, change management, cutover execution, and post-implementation hypercare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials, specifically specializing in Accounts Payable (Payables P3/Advanced level).
• Proven experience leading AP process architecture, invoice processing, supplier payments, and tax/controls definition.
• Track record of leading SIT/UAT testing execution and defect management for enterprise ERP implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP data migration, supplier integration, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience delivering functional leadership across complex, cross-functional finance modernization initiatives.
