Oracle Cloud Fusion Technical Consultant

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) Consultant to support a critical implementation/enhancement initiative. This role focuses on data conversions and migrations, system integrations, custom reporting, and functional/technical configuration across Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (Financials, SCM, and/or Procurement). The ideal candidate has full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementation experience and can work independently with business stakeholders and technical teams. Must be an expert in Data Conversions, Integrations & Configuration with experience in the PUBLIC Sector, Government, State, Local, Federal, or Higher Education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute data conversion and migration activities from legacy/on-prem systems into Oracle Cloud ERP, using FBDI, HDL, ADFdi, and Oracle-provided templates including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Design, build, and support system integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party/internal systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, and file-based interfaces.
• Develop and maintain reports and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP), Smart View, and FRS (Financial Reporting Studio) to meet business requirements.
• Perform functional/technical configuration across relevant Fusion modules (Financials, Procurement, SCM) including setup of business units, ledgers, workflows, approval rules, and other module-specific configurations.
• Partner with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, document specifications (functional/technical design docs, data mapping), and translate business needs into Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Support testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT), including test script creation and issue triage/resolution.
• Troubleshoot data, integration, and configuration issues across the project lifecycle (implementation, post-go-live stabilization, or enhancement phases).
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to client teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• Strong experience with data conversion tools: FBDI, HDL, ADFdi, Oracle Cloud import templates.
• Hands-on experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), REST/SOAP APIs, and integration patterns.
• Strong reporting skills: OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, FRS.
• Configuration experience in one or more Fusion modules: Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management), SCM (Inventory, Order Management), and/or Procurement.
• Solid SQL skills; PL/SQL a plus.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Consulting/client-facing background strongly preferred.
• Oracle Cloud certifications (Financials, SCM, or Procurement).
• Experience with Agile/hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Industry experience in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, etc.
• Experience with OTBI dashboard design or Groovy scripting for extensions is a plus.
