Oracle AI Data Pipeline Engineer

About the role

As an Oracle AI Data Pipeline Engineer, you will create cloud-based technical architectures that meet client needs and leverage cloud AI capabilities. You will develop cloud-based solutions for mission-critical applications and products, using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments. You will work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design, recommend tools and solutions based on research, and help clients overcome challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you will grow your skills in AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) enterprise solutions, including on-premise or hybrid solutions.
• Build data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Design and implement readers to extract metadata from data sources, metadata enrichment capabilities, and event pipelines.
• Design and build AI agents and leverage AI to enhance data workflows.
• Integrate mission data with LLMs using RAG and MCP.
• Develop and deploy production geospatial solutions, including raster and vector data, from concept to operations and maintenance.
• Maintain and develop advanced OCI solutions.
• Design and build Node.js applications and dashboards connected to Oracle Databases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using software with a cloud-first development approach.
• 3+ years of experience with OCI enterprise solutions, including on-premise or hybrid solutions.
• Experience building data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Experience designing and implementing readers to extract metadata from data sources, metadata enrichment capabilities, and event pipelines.
• Experience designing and building AI agents and leveraging AI to enhance data workflows.
• Experience integrating mission data with LLMs using RAG and MCP.
• Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions such as raster and vector from concept to O&M.
• Experience developing and maintaining advanced OCI solutions.
• Experience designing and building Node.js applications and dashboards connected to Oracle Databases.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice If You Have

• 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including Compute, Oracle 26ai, Exadata, Autonomous AI Database Service on Exadata, security policies, security groups, and network security.
• Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation.
• Experience with system migration from AWS to OCI.
• Experience designing OCI solutions optimized for geospatial workloads such as Relational, Spatial, and JSON Relational Duality and Graph.
• Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments.
• Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• OCI Certifications such as OCI Architect or OCI Developer Certifications.
• IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
