Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Manager of Surgical Services (or designee), possess expertise in a specific surgical specialty area or areas.
• Responsible for the care delivered within the clinical specialty; oversee orientation in the clinical specialty; coordinate with physicians in their respective specialties; communicate material-intensive needs; and support in-room activities.
• For the specialty, meet with the Surgeon and maintain the preference cards of the assigned specialty on a quarterly basis.
• Provide patient care in the Operating Room using aseptic technique, focusing on the needs of the surgical patient and exemplifying service excellence goals of care, concern, respect, and cooperation.
• As a contributing member of the health care team, participate in a comprehensive surgical plan of care for assigned patients.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Surgical Technology required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of previous job-related experience (preferred: 7 plus years).
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
• Preferred: Certified Surgical Technologist.

Pay

Pay Range: $26.40 - $42.24 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.

Schedule

Full-time, Day Shift.
